鶹ɫƬ Police Department

A Message from the Chief

The 鶹ɫƬ Police Department is committed to supporting students, faculty, staff, and visitors through a community-focused policing model that prioritizes safety, trust, and student success. Our approach emphasizes collaboration, education, and proactive engagement to create an environment where academic excellence and personal growth can thrive. Through educational programming, outreach initiatives, and thoughtful behavioral interventions, our department works to build strong relationships across the Flyer community.

As a proud 鶹ɫƬ alum and Chief of Police, I have a deep personal and professional commitment to this institution and the community it serves. I expect our officers to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and compassion, while treating every individual with dignity and respect. Our leadership philosophy is rooted in servant leadership, meeting others where they are, leading by example, and modeling accountability, empathy, and respect. We hope that through our daily interactions, students not only feel safe but also see leadership in action and are encouraged to carry those values into their own lives and careers. Our goal is not only to protect, but also to partner with the campus community to foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

We view public safety as a shared responsibility and a partnership with the campus community. I encourage students, parents, faculty, staff, and visitors to engage with us, whether you have a question, concern, compliment, or suggestion. Building trust begins with open communication, and our doors are always open.
